Shri. Chinta Haran Mahadev Temple At Chakrata
Chakrata is a cantonment town in Dehradun district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated between the Tons and Yamuna rivers, at an elevation of 7000–7250 feet, 98 km from state capital,Dehradun.  Chakrata can be reached from Dehradun via Mussoorie or Vikasnagar both routes pass through beautiful mountainous road. Chakrata is accessible throughout the year its upto you what you want to enjoy if you fried at delhi in hot summer then you will get a very pleasant weather at chakrata. But if you are fond of snow view then you can visit there in winters too.
Tiger Fall
The region also has a number of temples including ones at Hanol village near tiuni, Mahasu Devta Temple dedicated to Lord Mahasu , Radina, Thaina, Indroli, Lakhwar, and Lakhamandal , the village also has several natural caves.

Tiger Fall one of the highest direct water fall having an elevation of 312ft .It is untouched by commercialization. The fall is surrounded by dense forest and the sound of the water is just wow you can just sit there for hours. As it is a remote kind of spot so it does not have fancy restaurant and hotels so you have to settle with small hotels at chakrata. Hotel snow view is quite budget and famous out there. There is a small tea shop at Fall when we talk to the owner they said they have one room too which they give to the tourists and guys stay overnight and do lot of activity like dancing  and bonfire which amazed me when he said that.

JOURNEY

We started our journey from ISBT (Kashmiri Gate), Delhi on friday night via bus towards dehradun. Our first halt was at khatuali where we had tea and some snacks. As we have to travel from dehradun to chakrata in the morning so we thought that we can take a nap of 4 hours. We reached at dehradun in morning at 6 AM from there we went to our friend house where we had a lovely break fast made by his mother. Then we took their "Activa" and leave towards "Chakrata ". Half the way is very good and going through a dense forest gives us a very great feeling during the journey we halt at several temples and had "prashad".
