Bike trip to Mussoorie's lesser known places (Jhari Pani Fall, Bhatta Fall, Robbers Cave)

Mussoorie:  Its a very popular hill station located 35km from "Dehradun" capital of Uttrakhand state of India. It is also known as the queen of hills and favourite place of Delhiites to escape from the hustle-bustle of city life. There are so many places in Mussoorie  to visit most popular from them are Kempty fall, Lal Tibba, Mussoorie Lake, Buddha Temple, Company Garden, Jwala devi temple. But in this post we will showing some lesser known place in mussoorie but very amazing.

Robbers Cave: It is 600 meter long river cave which divided into two main part. The cave have 3 small and big water fall about 6 meter. It is locally known as  "Guchhu Pani" you will also find some fort structure in the middle of the cave. The cave is now maintained by uttrakhand government and you can find food stalls near the cave.

Robber's Cave (Guchhu Pani)

Jharipani Fall
Jharipani Water Fall: This water fall is not very famous and nor big as Kempty fall but it will give you a different feeling because it is surronded by dense forest and the trails to reach fall is also amazing. The road is good till Jharipani village but last 2km trail to Jharipani fall is not good so you need to trek a little from there. The fall is not crowded like Kempty fall infact there are chances that you wont see anyone around there. In all it is must visit fall for adventure lover, silence lover, nature lover.

Bhatta Fall: Mussoorie have many water fall Bhatta Fall is one of them this water fall is also less popular but very natural and less commercialized. You can chill here and make a weekend party with your family or friends. There is just one food stall which offer you not much maybe egg, maggie, tea, etc.

JOURNEY

I started this journey from Noida at 4:00AM on my "Pulsar RS200" and reach to my friend house around 4:30AM in Delhi from there we take Delhi-Mohan Nagar- Meerut, Haridwar, Dehradun Route. Leaving Early morning will give you so many advantages like avoiding traffic jams as in our route after 7 AM there are so many traffic points where jam took place like Mohan Nagar, muradnagar, modinagar crossing these three point can take 2.5 hour and some time even more. Because we leave early morning thats why we cross meerut less than an hour.

We were riding on NH58 and saw the full sunrise which was just amazing as riding on rush free road while on my right side sun is rising and what i am seeing in my front is giving me the energy to accelerate more.

Around 9:00 we have reached to dehradun from there we move a little and stopped at a restaurant to have breakfast and wait for our friend. The restaurant "Ambrosia" is very good and prices are not too high. Ambrosia food state is good so the location offers you good views.

A tasty breakfast energized us and our friends came and we left for "Jhari Pani" before reaching there we stopped at " shree prakasheshwar mahadev temple" which is a private temple and you can have free tea at this temple and interesting thing about the temple is that "donation is prohibited" in this temple.

Riding on the curvy roads of mussoorie gave us awesome feeling and twist and turns are breath taking specially after the cut towards jharipani.

Jharpani fall was amazing and must visit place to all. After the jaripani fall we again start following the dehradun-mussoorie road to reach our next destination which was just 5km from jharipani fall that is b"Batta fall" again a very less popular fall but at this fall there is one food shop and it was started well but due to less tourist it dint work that well. The fall is natural mostly and covered with forest and very beautiful. Well connected road so easy for family and kids too less commercialized and easy to reach.

We want to stay more but it was getting dark so we left the Bhatta fall and headed to our friends home who leaves in dehradun. It was twety/twenty worldcup and the match is between India & Pakistan we watch it in the night what else you want from a trip.

Next day morning when I woke up in the morning i hear something and it was the sound of raining I thought day2 will be ruined due to rain and we have to go home without going our next destination(Robber's Cave) but the rain stopped at 9:AM till that time we had breakfast.

Robber's cave is about 30minz journey from Dehradun. again the roads are very good and what you get at the end is just amazing which you can see in the further pics.
