Mussoorie:  Its a very popular hill station located 35km from "Dehradun" capital of Uttrakhand state of India. It is also known as the queen of hills and favourite place of Delhiites to escape from the hustle-bustle of city life. There are so many places in Mussoorie  to visit most popular from them are Kempty fall, Lal Tibba, Mussoorie Lake, Buddha Temple, Company Garden, Jwala devi temple. But in this post we will showing some lesser known place in mussoorie but very amazing.

Robbers Cave: It is 600 meter long river cave which divided into two main part. The cave have 3 small and big water fall about 6 meter. It is locally known as  "Guchhu Pani" you will also find some fort structure in the middle of the cave. The cave is now maintained by uttrakhand government and you can find food stalls near the cave.

Chandrashila: The name "Chandrashila" means "Moon Rock"  is located at a height of about 4,000 meters above sea level. The view of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedar peak is definitely a breath taking from chandrashila.It gives you a 360 degree view of the Himalayas.There are many stories associated with this peak like Lord  "Rama" spent some time here after defeating "Ravan" and the god of Moon also spent time here in penance. The trek of chadrashila is about 5 km from "Chopta" with a difficulty level of  easy to moderate.In winters it becomes a little difficult.

Tungnath: Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world and is one of the five Panch Kedar temples.As said by the local people the temple is believed to be 1000 years old. Tungnath is a religious place. But "Tungnath" is also known for trekking and the 4 km trek starts from "Chopta". Mostly people do this trek in summers because in winters the temple  closed due to heavy snow fall. Chadrashila will left 1 km from Tungnath.

Deoria Tal(Devariyatal): Deoria Tal also spelled as "Devariya Tal" is located about 3km from village "Sari" on an uphill trek at an altitude of 2348. It has lush green surrounded by snow covered mountains. There are some stories added with this place said by locals that god's bath in this lake that's why the name is "Devariya Tal" where "Dev" means god and "Tal"means pound in hindi.
