JOURNEY
Me and my friend Navneet both works in corporates, it was a mid june we decided to go some places cool than delhi and we decided to go Rishikesh  for rafting. we packed our bags on Friday evening and left home to catch the bus  from ISBT(Delhi)   to  rishikesh. I reached there but as usual navneet is late so what should I do? I start calling agency to book a raft and I was shocked when i hear, " Due to rain , authority stopped the rafting in rishikesh ". I was setting on a bench, navneet came and asked me about the bus timing I told him about the situation. We both are clue less and asking to each other what to do Next. After an hour we decided to go "Dharamshala" as the moto of the journey was to go some place cool .

Now we are all set to go to Dharamshala but we landed  in other problem, last bus tickets were sold out. So we took the bus to Chandigarh after reaching there we got  the same bus which was full at delhi now have some vacant seats so we took that bus. After a long journey over the night we reached  dharamshala at 11:30 AM where Navneet capture these beautiful school girls whose coming from some cultural event.

Indian Glamour!!!

we had our lunch here and  start  looking for information about the Dharamshala or places near by then some local told us that you should go to McLeodgunj to see the beauty of nature. we took a sharing cab from there and after some kilometers suck into a huge traffic jam but we almost there so we walk from there towards McLeodgunj and middle of the route we saw this St. John's church and halted there for half an hour.

When we reached to McLeodgunj we again start gathering information from locals about the  nearby places that's how we came to know about the Triund Peak and Trek and Bhagsu water fall. We became more excited about waterfall so we start moving in the direction of  bhagsu waterfall very fast. Finally we reached to bhagsu waterfall where we had lot of fun and capture some moments in our camera.

McLeodgunj!

Bhagsu waterfall! Main maze main hun mujhe satana na ...

Yanha se toh pani kam lag raha hai ....

Local Kids at Water fall!!!

Never Give up!

After playing in bhagsu water fall we thought to find some place to stay at McLeodganj becuase its getting dark. We take a room at 1000 INR and  we both take a nap on our bed for about 1 and half hour after it we had our dinner in a punjabi dhaba and the best part is the taste and rate of food is best and recommended.

On the next day we woke up early in the morning and packed our bags to checkout from the hotel. After a light breakfast we took an auto to dharamkot which is our starting point for the trek.  The trek starts from Dharamkot  but it can also be done from Gallu temple which save some time. But we start from  Dharmkot  through a forest of oak , deoders tree and capture spectacular views during treak.

On the way to Gallu Temple

After Gallu, trek is well defined but not very easy specially the last kilometer which is very steep to Triund. You will find so many people during trek. The trek has no light and only two small tea shops which is too much expensive like you will get mineral water bottle for about 40 rupees so taking stuff like chocolates, water, fruits is recommended.

View during the trek to triund! Breath taking view!

Track on the way of  Triund! Bus thoda aur baki hai !

On an average it will take about 2 and half  to 4 hours to reach top of the hills depends on the stamina of the person who is trekking. The views from the top are amazing you will  forgot about every pain you take to reach to the top.

Finally! ab mat kehna ki aur upar jana hai...

I am Hungry!!
