Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary: If you are a nature lover then this place is just for you as the "Binsar" is located approx 30km from Almora in uttrakhand state of India. It is quite popular for its rich flora and fauna. Its a dense forest with so many special trees and one can find "Oak"trees at high altitude and "Pine" trees at lower altitude. If anyone wanted to watch birds then one can trek as trekking is allowed in the forest and you can watch more than 200 bird species visited every year with these birds one can also watch different animals too.

Their is a place called "Zero Point" from where visitor can watch some himalaya peaks like Kedarnath Peak, Trishul, Nanda Devi.

Pangot: Its a village in Nanital district of Uttrakhand state of India at a height of 6300 feet. Tourist who visit the Nainital often visit this place and its a paradise for Birds watcher; approx 500 bird species have been recorded in this area.

The place is easy drive of nearly 13km from Nainital which passes through dense forest  via "Kilbury" and Snow view point.

Pangot

Nainital: A very popular hill station of India located in Kumaon region of Uttrakhand state and is popularly know as lake district of India. Their is a "Naini temple" on the bank of "Naini Lake" and their is legend associated with the temple as per Hindus this is the place where some part of burned body of parvati fell here while being carried by lord Shiva.

Nainital is also a weekend spot of delhites in summer to get relaxed and refreshed. Nainital offers lots of activity like boating , paragliding, waterfall watching etc.

Mussoorie:  Its a very popular hill station located 35km from "Dehradun" capital of Uttrakhand state of India. It is also known as the queen of hills and favourite place of Delhiites to escape from the hustle-bustle of city life. There are so many places in Mussoorie  to visit most popular from them are Kempty fall, Lal Tibba, Mussoorie Lake, Buddha Temple, Company Garden, Jwala devi temple. But in this post we will showing some lesser known place in mussoorie but very amazing.

Robbers Cave: It is 600 meter long river cave which divided into two main part. The cave have 3 small and big water fall about 6 meter. It is locally known as  "Guchhu Pani" you will also find some fort structure in the middle of the cave. The cave is now maintained by uttrakhand government and you can find food stalls near the cave.

Chandrashila: The name "Chandrashila" means "Moon Rock"  is located at a height of about 4,000 meters above sea level. The view of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedar peak is definitely a breath taking from chandrashila.It gives you a 360 degree view of the Himalayas.There are many stories associated with this peak like Lord  "Rama" spent some time here after defeating "Ravan" and the god of Moon also spent time here in penance. The trek of chadrashila is about 5 km from "Chopta" with a difficulty level of  easy to moderate.In winters it becomes a little difficult.

Tungnath: Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world and is one of the five Panch Kedar temples.As said by the local people the temple is believed to be 1000 years old. Tungnath is a religious place. But "Tungnath" is also known for trekking and the 4 km trek starts from "Chopta". Mostly people do this trek in summers because in winters the temple  closed due to heavy snow fall. Chadrashila will left 1 km from Tungnath.

Deoria Tal(Devariyatal): Deoria Tal also spelled as "Devariya Tal" is located about 3km from village "Sari" on an uphill trek at an altitude of 2348. It has lush green surrounded by snow covered mountains. There are some stories added with this place said by locals that god's bath in this lake that's why the name is "Devariya Tal" where "Dev" means god and "Tal"means pound in hindi.

Scuba diving is a mode of underwater diving in which a scuba diver uses a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba) to breathe underwater. Unlike other modes of diving, which rely either on breath-hold or on breathing gas pumped from the surface, scuba divers carry their own source of breathing gas usually compressed air, allowing them greater freedom of movement than with an air line or diver's umbilical and longer underwater endurance than breath-hold. 



Renuka lake is in the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh in India and it is 672m above the sea level. It is the largest lake in Himachal Pradesh, with a circumference of about 3214 m.  It is believed to be the embodiment of Renukaji, the wife of the saint Jamadagini and the mother of Parshuram who was one of the ten Avatars of Lord Vishnu. The city is pilgrim place for Hindus and have several temples. The place is very beautiful and peaceful less crowded as outsiders don't know much about this place. There are several activities like boating  and trekking visitors can also go to the zoo.

JOURNEY

This trip was planned in about 15 minutes and packing of bags took about 10 minutes and ready bikes in 10 minz and left the home. we started the journey from Delhi about 2:30pm on 24th dec 2015 we took our first small halt at roorkee at our friends home for 20minz. we started again cause its really cold there and we have to reach dehradun before 9:00 pm. but we reached before 8:15 cause there was no traffic jam.we stayed at my friends home in dehradun from there renuka ji is about 80km. we decided head towards renukaji early in the morning so that we can go and return to home before night but we were not able to woke up in the morning cause the temp was to down and too much fog on the roads. We left the our friends home about 10 am.
Shri. Chinta Haran Mahadev Temple At Chakrata
Chakrata is a cantonment town in Dehradun district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated between the Tons and Yamuna rivers, at an elevation of 7000–7250 feet, 98 km from state capital,Dehradun.  Chakrata can be reached from Dehradun via Mussoorie or Vikasnagar both routes pass through beautiful mountainous road. Chakrata is accessible throughout the year its upto you what you want to enjoy if you fried at delhi in hot summer then you will get a very pleasant weather at chakrata. But if you are fond of snow view then you can visit there in winters too.

The region also has a number of temples including ones at Hanol village near tiuni, Mahasu Devta Temple dedicated to Lord Mahasu , Radina, Thaina, Indroli, Lakhwar, and Lakhamandal , the village also has several natural caves.

Tiger Fall one of the highest direct water fall having an elevation of 312ft .It is untouched by commercialization. The fall is surrounded by dense forest and the sound of the water is just wow you can just sit there for hours. As it is a remote kind of spot so it does not have fancy restaurant and hotels so you have to settle with small hotels at chakrata. Hotel snow view is quite budget and famous out there.There is a small tea shop at Fall when we talk to the owner they said they have one room too which they give to the tourists and guys stay overnight and do lot of activity like dancing  and bonfire which amazed me when he said that.

JOURNEY

We started our journey from ISBT (Kashmiri Gate), Delhi on friday night via bus towards dehradun. Our first halt was at khatuali where we had tea and some snacks. As we have to travel from dehradun to chakrata in the morning so we thought that we can take a nap of 4 hours. We reached at dehradun in morning at 6 AM from there we went to our friend house where we had a lovely break fast made by his mother. Then we took their "Activa" and leave towards "Chakrata ". Half the way is very good and going through a dense forest gives us a very great feeling during the journey we halt at several temples and had "prashad".
