Scuba diving is a mode of underwater diving in which a scuba diver uses a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba) to breathe underwater. Unlike other modes of diving, which rely either on breath-hold or on breathing gas pumped from the surface, scuba divers carry their own source of breathing gas usually compressed air, allowing them greater freedom of movement than with an air line or diver's umbilical and longer underwater endurance than breath-hold.
Scuba equipment may be open circuit, in which exhaled gas is expelled to the surroundings, or a closed or semi-closed circuit rebreather, in which the breathing gas is scrubbed to remove carbon dioxide, and the oxygen used is replenished from a supply of feed gas before being re-breathed.
Journey
In Goa there are so many adventure clubs provide Scuba diving package but at the same there are only few who provide Scuba Diving because most of them are agents who booked the entry for some other company.We booked Scuba from an agent unfortunately then they gave us a receipt and send us to the main company "Dive Goa" which is situated in candolium, Goa.It is advised to book your scuba couple of days before the dive date and from the main company because they can offer you the best deals. Well on the dive day we woke up early in the morning as we have a 45 minz training session which starts at 7:00 am now this is something which we dint like because it makes us leave before 6:00 am as we are staying in betalbatim from where we have a drive of almost 1 hour. Some how we reached to "Dive Goa" , Sinq Beach Club there we were briefed about our stuff like oxygen cylinder, mask and all.

A pool training session is also provided in which we got to know about how to breathe inside the water and if oxygen mask came out how to take it back. How to wear dive mask and if water get inside the mask how to clear it. How to move inside the water and give signals to the instructor.

After the training session we left to the beach and from there we board into boat which took us to "Grande Island" ,our diving point while reaching to the grande island we spotted some dolphin's. It took around 1 hour to reach grande island where we put our anchor first and the instructor first went into the water to check everything is fine.

Then we started going one by one there were only two or three people can go on the same time because we had only three instructor. So the rest off jump into the sea and playing with water.

We saw many types of fishes and the experience was amazing. I tried to touch fishes but had no luck. My instructor hold me for whole time and they also shoot our video and pics.It was included in the package.

After the dive we had some snacks and headed towards the beach and had our lunch there. The experience was amazing and we would like to again.
